Startup Grind Summer Bash: Oakland’s Premier Tech Event

Startup Grind, the world’s largest startup community, in partnership with STAK Space, proudly announces the official launch of our Oakland Chapter. The Summer Bash will take place on August 28, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at STAK Space, located at 1900 Broadway in Oakland.

What to Expect

This premier event brings together Silicon Valley and Bay Area innovators for an afternoon of connection and celebration. Attendees will experience live startup pitches with direct investor feedback, unfiltered venture capital panel discussions, and an exhibitor showcase featuring emerging companies. The program includes complimentary food and beverages throughout the day, networking zones with entertainment, and concludes with an exclusive VIP cocktail hour featuring industry leaders.

Event Schedule

The day begins at 12:00 PM with registration and a welcome social featuring lunch, refreshments, and exhibitor demonstrations on the fourth floor. Programming transitions at 2:30 PM to the second floor for focused content sessions, including a Carta presentation at 3:05 PM, a VC panel discussing Silicon Valley investment trends at 3:35 PM, and rapid-fire founder pitches at 4:05 PM. The evening culminates with a VIP reception on the 39th floor starting at 4:30 PM.
