On March 5th, we kicked things off with a packed house. Oakland-Claw officially launched at 1920 Broadway with “The Rise of Agents.” We did not just host a panel. We brought together over 400 builders and operators who are deploying the next generation of tech. The message was clear: Oakland is the center for agentic innovation. We focused on the three pillars that define our community: Awareness to cut through the noise, Thought Leadership from those shipping real systems, and Community Building to give technical operators a permanent home. The Penthouse Heist at 1900 Broadway takes the Oakland AI scene to the 39th floor for something far beyond a typical networking mixer. This event serves as a full-scale OpenClaw experiment where teams face the challenge of building agents capable of cracking a digital piggybank. The goal is simple: test if agentic platforms are truly secure. With a judge’s panel featuring experts from OpenAI, Meta Super Intelligence Labs, Stripe, and AWS, the environment is designed for high-intensity execution.
